The intention behind proposing floor gratings in this space was to provide ventilation as the east side wall can't be provided with any window openings due to neighbour buildings. So, which will eventually cause the double height space more shady in terms of light and ventilation which was taken into consideration .
Connecting the between floors by proposing the grid shaped floor gratings which can be used as a movable space by walking over and also let the light from the cones to pass through until the ground floor area.
