The interlocking method used in this bed is a 1000 of years old carpentry technique which was known as MORTISE AND TENON.It was one of the basic step in carpentry community but lately it started to loose its importance over the period time . The interlocking wooden joints will hold together with the same amount of durability any screws or nails would provide.So, basically its not permanently fixed with any adhesives as such so it can also be easily dismantled or assembled .
The platform shown in the render visual is the main characteristic feature of this furniture.It is made of solid wood with natural texture which can be used as a side table to leave any objects like books ,phones etc. And also it can accommodated as a seater for any leisure activity.The true intent of such design decision was to fuse various activities with each other inside a space which will eventually decrease the furniture area in the room for a better user experience .
